On 29th October, the atmosphere at Ashmita English School was filled with excitement as students showcased their talents in a highly anticipated dance competition. This year, children from Children’s Home participated with great enthusiasm and delivered remarkable performances.
In the junior dance category, Latika from Class 4 and Sushma from Class 6 represented the Yellow House. Their dynamic performance to a mixed song won them the first place, reflecting their excitement teamwork and vibrant energy,
In the senior category, Sitashma from Grade 8, representing the Green House, mesmerized the audience with her solo performance of the song “Sakela”. Her expressive and graceful movements secured her the first place, highlighting her dedication.
Importance of Dance
Dance holds a significant place in our lives, serving as a medium for expression, and physical fitness. It allows individuals to convey emotions and stories through movements, fostering creativity and emotional release. It brings people together, promoting social interaction and unity. Moreover, dance is an excellent form of physical exercise, enhancing coordination, flexibility, and overall fitness.
